Can Tungsten with stand the heat of plasma with a liquid nitrogen cooling system?

I’m wanting to build a long distance plasma cutter in essence a light saber, but the only way I can see to do that is with a plasma cutter hooked up to a small air compressor w/ maybe a 2pt tank with i guess a tungsten disk, with something similar to a nitrogen cooling system on its backside, that shoots out one end after completing the circuit to make the beam

    Tungsten discs are used in xray tubes , with a Tungsten coil, in a focusing cup, using a high/low voltage, the low for thermionic emission off the coil, for a plasma cloud, and a closing high kv for transfer of the electrons for impact upon the disc, approximately the surface temperature of the sun. But to do this, it’s in a vacuum. To stop atmosphere from interfering with the plasma, you’d need a containment barrel, possibly magnetic, and a hot laser to force the air out of the barrel as the plasma is fired down to your target. The heat would be immense, xray production very possible, and it would require lots of theoretical physics, testing, and most importantly, money. Lots of money. What you may end up with would be a particle ray weapon.
